The Health Issues Committee of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York aims to provide education to women and the community at large about health issues of concern and legal health care tools to advance health care planning and decision-making under New York State law. The Committee seeks to be actively engaged in both the health law bar and the health services community for the purpose of identifying legal issues that are central to the work of the Committee in reviewing proposed legislation, promoting legal advocacy and developing education programs.
