The Women's Bar Association of the State of New York has been a participating member of the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations for years and is proud that three of its members, Nancy D. Peck (GRAWA), Phyllis C. Solomon (New York) and Carole Aciman (New York), have served as Presidents.

This Committee of the Women's Bar Association has been developed to foster communication and networking among the various women's bar associations throughout the country to increase our members' awareness, achievements and power as a national organization. The dissemination of information and assistance in providing educational forums designed for members of women's bar associations is critical to the development and enhancement of our individual member chapters. The Conference can be used as an excellent resource tool.

The Chair(s) of this Committee will attend the National Conference of Women's Bar Association meetings, prepare written or oral reports to WBASNY of the activities and information that would be of value to WBASNY or its chapters, assist in the implementation of such activities and ensure that the Presidents of the Chapters receive the Conference Newsletter and are encouraged to submit articles of their own for publication. It is an excellent forum to increase the visibility of WBASNY not only as a powerful statewide organization but as a leader nationally.
