The Press and Public Relations Committee is a standing Committee of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York, established under Article XIX of the By-Laws.

The Committee is established to facilitate the dissemination of informative material on the activities of the Board of Directors, Chapters and individual members to the press and public. Pursuant to the By-Laws, the Committee is responsible for the preparation and timely release of all publicity releases to newspapers, periodicals, radio, television or other media communication as designated by the President or Board of Directors. Releases relating to policy of the Association of any kind shall be issued only with prior approval of the policy by the Board of Directors.
